Hello. My name is Nora. Today I will be reviewing chocolate chip cookie dough ice creams. Have you ever had the craving for ice cream but not know which brand you wanted to try? There are so many options in stores today that I believe this review may be important to many ice cream lovers.
My methodology for reviewing these products include the taste test, the look test, and the price range. I conducted the taste test by simply tasting all of the ice creams. For the look test, I got a scoop of each ice cream and decided which looked most appealing and had the most pieces of cookie dough. I also took into consideration that each individual ice cream falls into a different price range.
I ranked 10 different ice cream brands. Although everyone may have a different preference, my favorite of all of these was the Ben & Jerry’s Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough. It passed the taste test with flying colors. I found this ice cream to have the most flavor in every bite. It was very creamy and smooth. The look test also proved this product to be the best because it had many bites of cookie dough; enough for every bite to have some in it. This product was on the higher end of the price range, but I found the extra dollar spent really improved the quality of the ice cream. My runner up ice cream was Edy’s Grand Ice Cream Cookie Dough. This ice cream was not as expensive as the Ben & Jerry’s ice cream but it was still very good quality. This ice cream also passed the taste and look tests. It had plenty of cookie dough bites throughout the ice cream. It was a very close second to the Ben & Jerry’s Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough ice cream. My third choice was Blue Bunny Premium Super Chunky Cookie Dough. This ice cream passed all of the tests. In the taste test, it was also very smooth. In the look test, it had bigger chunks of cookie dough but not as many throughout the entirety of the ice cream like the other two ice creams did. The price range for this ice cream is similar to Edy’s and is very affordable. The other products I reviewed were Breyers, talenti gelato, Dean’s Country Fresh, Halo top, Turkey Hill, Haagen-Dazs, and finally Great Value.
I learned in this process just how many brands of ice cream there really are out there and how hard it is to choose a favorite. I also learned how many ice creams are healthier with less calories. There is a choice for everyone. I believe this methodology could be used for all other food products that need reviewed. That’s my review, I hope it helps in all of your future ice cream endeavors!
