Few activities are more relaxing than spending some time fishing. For a casual catch-and-release fishing experience, casting-rod gear can be rented from Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. If you're looking for a fishing experience that hearkens back to an earlier age, cane-pole fishing is available at Disney's Port Orleans Riverside resort. To take the fishing experience up a notch, guided bass fishing boat excursions are available at several resorts around Walt Disney World property for an additional fee.

#3 Swim with the Sharks or Dive with the Dolphins

If you seek adventure under the water, Walt Disney World offers several exciting excursions. At The Living Seas pavilion in Epcot, the Dolphins in Depth experience lets you get up close and personal with the dolphins by sitting in on a training session and interacting with dolphins in waist-deep water. For SCUBA-certified individuals, the DiveQuest experience gives you the opportunity to swim with dolphins, sharks, sea turtles, and more. There is also an Epcot Seas Aqua Tour that allows you to explore the massive indoor aquarium with an assisted snorkeling system. Each of the Epcot tours requires admission to Epcot and come at an additional charge. Over at Typhoon Lagoon you can get in the Shark Reef to snorkel with sharks. Snorkel and mask rental are included with your water park admission. For an additional fee, a supplied-air snorkeling system is also available.

Thanks to popularity of movies like Brave and The Hunger Games series, archery is becoming increasingly popular. At Disney's Fort Wilderness resort, for an additional fee, archery guides help guests ages 7 and up learn how to use a compound bow and have more than an hour of target practice. Advanced reservations are suggested as the class size is limited to 10 people for each 90-minute session.

Years before the construction of Walt Disney World the local lakes of this Central Florida area were a popular destination for tourists. For additional fees, activities such as parasailing, tubing, wake boarding, water skiing and personal watercraft rentals are fun options for a hot Florida day.

#8 Amphicar Rides

The surprise seeing these vintage cars driven into the water is only surpassed by amazement watching them float and "drive" around the waters at Disney Springs. With fewer than 4,000 amphicars built in the 1960s, the collection of nine amphicars at The BOATHOUSE at Disney Springs is impressive to see. Twenty-minute guided tours with your own amphicar Captain are available daily (weather permitting) for an additional fee.
